Jesus Cisneros

Jesus Cisneros is Team Leader of the International Relations Team at EIOPA (European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority) since 2024.

He has been working in the area of international relations at EIOPA since 2016, contributing to global regulatory and supervisory cooperation, and to the development of international insurance standards, with particular emphasis on the Insurance Capital Standard (ICS) and the Insurance Core Principles (ICPs).

Prior to joining EIOPA, Jesus Cisneros worked at Insurance Europe, the European (re)insurance federation, focusing on international financial regulatory issues.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) and a Master’s degree in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium).

He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
