Danita Pattemore

Member of Senior Management Team (Capital and Solvency)

Danita Pattemore is a member of the Senior Management Team and responsible for Insurance Capital Standard (ICS) Implementation Assessment work, as well as overseeing Capital and Solvency projects. Danita was a member of the IAIS Secretariat from 2015 to 2023, during which time she held a variety of roles, including Deputy Head of Capital and Solvency. In this role, she was the project manager for the development of the ICS and provided management oversight to various IAIS committees and sub-committees.

From 2023-2025, Danita was a Senior Financial Sector Specialist at the World Bank where she was responsible for country-level engagement to facilitate further development of the insurance sector. Danita also has extensive experience as an insurance assessor for the Financial Sector Assessment Programs conducted by the IMF and World Bank.

Danita is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. She holds a BSc. degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science from McGill University, as well as a BA (with distinction), specialising in Actuarial Mathematics, from Concordia University.
