Victor Kuk is Chief Executive Officer of Peak Re, responsible for providing strategic leadership and driving sustainable growth and profitability for the organisation. In this capacity, he sets the company’s overall strategic direction, ensures its financial strength and resilience, and fosters a culture of excellence aligned with Peak Re’s long-term vision. He also plays a central role in cultivating key relationships with clients, regulators, shareholders and other stakeholders, steering the organisation in an increasingly dynamic and complex global reinsurance market.

Victor has over 30 years of insurance and reinsurance experience across a variety of international markets. Prior to joining Peak Re, he held senior roles at AXA and QBE, and most recently served at Swiss Re, where he was CEO of Swiss Re Asia Pte. Ltd. and was also the Head of P&C Reinsurance Market Unit. Over the course of his career, he has consistently led high-performing, multicultural teams and partnered closely with clients to support their evolving risk and capital needs.

His experience spans senior leadership roles in Risk Management, Property & Casualty insurance and reinsurance, and facultative business across the Asia-Pacific region. This breadth of expertise enables Victor to bring a holistic, enterprise-wide perspective to underwriting, portfolio management and risk governance. As CEO, he is committed to maintaining robust risk and capital discipline while supporting innovation and client-centric solutions that help Peak Re’s partners navigate emerging risks and capture new opportunities.
